In summer, Belalp is the starting point for countless activities in the Valais mountains. Discover the breathtaking Great Aletsch Glacier, hike along historic suonen on the Massaweg trail and into the Gredetsch Valley, or let a mountain guide introduce you to the world of climbing. In addition to hiking, climbing, and mountaineering, you can also explore the region by bike or traverse the Massa Gorge.

Put on your cycling shorts, grab your helmet, and hop on your bike! In summer, the motto at Belalp is: head for the heights and hit the newly built 15-kilometer bike trails right next to the UNESCO World Heritage Site. With its unique topography, Blatten-Belalp guarantees unforgettable riding fun with plenty of flow on all trails.
Impressive hiking trails spread across a roughly 60-kilometer network in the fascinating and diverse mountain world of the Blatten-Belalp destination are waiting to be explored. There is much to discover here: unique nature, idyllic valleys, and fragrant forests.
If the walk from Belalp to Blatten is too leisurely for you, you can also whiz down the route on a Trottibike. Everyone sets their own pace, as the Trottibikes are equipped with brakes. Thanks to the suspension fork and the large, treaded tires, riding a Trottibike is fun on both asphalt and gravel roads. The 8-kilometer descent from Belalp to Blatten is a refreshing change of pace.
The new Skill Park right in front of the hotel offers biking fun for all ages. The Belalp Bike School offers bike courses in the summer from July to August for both children and adults.
